One of the most common questions that we get from clients and potential clients is how,
Why am I eating less and not losing weight?
And I’m going to get to that in just a moment.
Hi, I’m Chad Sorsdahl, from One Body Wellness and Transformation, author of a number of books and creator of the OneBody Method,
which we use with all our clients to achieve fantastic results in very short periods of time.
But I want to address it, the question, many people, who come to us and we talk to you
you know, outside of the gym and inside the gym.
“I’m eating less, I’m exercising more, but I’m not losing any weight. What is wrong?”
And a lot of the times it’s difficult for many people to get
into their heads that they actually need to eat more,
to lose body fat.
And this is where sort of the importance of your mindset becomes even more paramount,
because until you get your head around that it becomes very challenging.
Everybody thinks you eat more, I’m going to gain weight and depending on what you’re eating
and what your goals are, yes, that might be true. But if you’re trying to drop
body fat and you’re exercising, you’re busting your chops off at the gym, but you’re not giving your body the fuel or the right fuel, that it needs to get the results that it wants, then you’re gonna kinda be just spinning your wheels.
Your body’s going to hold on to the energy it needs just to function.
So until you know what your starting point is, there’s no point in changing your eating patterns because it’s like throwing darts at a board in the dark.
You don’t really know what you’re striving for.
A lot of people will say, “I want to lose weight and tone up”.
I thought fantastic goals, but they’re very ambiguous.
So we need to differentiate.
All right, what kind of weight do you want to lose?
Do you want to lose muscle?
Do you want to lose water?
Do you want to lose body fat?
Do you want to lose bone?
You know, it’s, you need to be more specific.

Where are you starting from?
It’s like, if you wanted to go on a road trip, but you had no idea where you were starting from, trying to get to where you want to go.
You’d end up all over the shop.
And that’s how a lot of people look at fat loss.
What we do is, we take all the calculations based on where you are now, your level of activity, what you’re eating, what your current stats are, body fat, weight, BMI, age, height, all of these things we take into consideration to find out where you’re starting from.
We keep it simple, we want to simplify it for it you.
The eating plan is simple,
exercising is simple.
Find out where you’re starting is simple.
We’ve done all the hard yards, I have spent over $150,000 in my own education, and in
time, trying to find out this information to make it easy.
The easier we make it for our clients, the more likely they are to stick to the plan, more likely they are to achieve their goals.
And we have a 93% success rate, which we’re very proud of.
